An environment suffocating under dictator like edicts, non-participatory decision making, and top down leadership styles, will most certainly be reflected in the way the people receiving services from your organization experience their supports.
All the glorious Mission and Vision statements in the world can’t change this truth.
Collaboration, thinking outside of paid supports, responsible risk taking and participatory decision making, will result in the best and most empowered performance from staff members, and the greatest satisfaction from individuals and families utilizing your services.
It makes the world better too – Everything, and I mean everything runs downhill! That’s karma for ya!
